CodingMarble QR & Barcode is a small set of free tools for making and reading QR codes and barcodes. It is built and maintained by CodingMarble, an Indian studio that makes websites, web apps and online tools, and it sits alongside our other free tool sites: Calculator, LovePDF, LoveImage and Typing Test.
Why it exists
Making a QR code or a barcode takes a few seconds, and it should not need an account, a trial period or a watermark across the result. The tools here do one job each: a link, a WiFi login, a UPI payment request, a WhatsApp chat, a contact card, a map pin, a Google review link, or a product barcode. Every tool has a short guide below it that explains how the code works, what size to print it at and what usually goes wrong.
How it works
Codes are drawn in your web browser using the open QR code standard (ISO/IEC 18004) and the common barcode standards. The text, links and images you use stay on your device and are not sent to our server. The codes are static: they hold the information itself, so they keep working for as long as the page, number or contact they point to keeps working.
How the site is paid for
The tools are free to use. The site is paid for by advertising from Google AdSense, which is explained in the privacy policy. Notifications about new tools are optional and can be turned off at any time.
What we are careful about
- Barcode check digits and formats are calculated by the tool, and the guides say plainly when a retail barcode needs numbers licensed from GS1.
- A scanner reads the number in a barcode. It does not prove a product is genuine, and we say so.
- Before you print many copies, scan the code with a phone. The terms page repeats this because it saves real money.
Corrections and questions
If a guide is wrong or unclear, or a tool does something unexpected, please tell us through the contact page. We read every message and fix real mistakes.
